Create your beautiful wedding at Beulah House! The origin of the word Beulah is from Hebrew which means “married woman.” What a perfect name for your wedding venue. Beulah has hosted weddings and events for 140 years, and yours could be next.
Beulah House will be your home for your wedding weekend. You can move in anytime after noon on Friday, and the place is yours until noon on Sunday.
The Client understands that Beulah House does not place any Private Events on the Event Calendar without an accepted quote, signed contract, and 50% initial deposit that serves as the Event Retainer. Once all three of these have been completed, BH will confirm your reservation by sending you a receipt of your payment. Payments will be made by credit or debit card. The Client understands that the final balance is due 30 days prior to the Event Date. Retainers are non-refundable for any reason, including cancelation.
Should The Client wish to cancel the Private Event for any reason, The Client is required to notify Beulah House in writing. If the cancelation is made within 90 days of the contracted Private Event Date, The Client will be required to pay the outstanding rental fee. The retainer is non-refundable. The Client is liable for any payments due to Vendors contracted through Beulah House on behalf of The Client.
The Client and Wedding Planner are responsible for the set up and clean up of all Event decorations and personal items. Beulah House suggests having all price tags, wrapping, and labels removed and items washed and packed appropriately for ease of set up and clean up.
Bird seed, rice, confetti, silly string, fireworks, and sky lanterns are not permitted at BH because they may present a danger to property, wildlife, or guests. Sparklers, Cold Sparkulars, lavender, fresh flower petals, dried petals, bubbles, and bubble guns are all great alternative options.
All interior or exterior decorations must be freestanding and not affixed to the interior or exterior walls with nails, staples, or adhesive of any kind. Florals may be attached to railings with pipe cleaners or zip ties as long as great care is taken in set up and removal not to damage the property.
Candles are permitted indoors and outdoors at Beulah House as long as they are in containers: pillar candles, jar candles, or votive candles. Other options without flames such as fairy lights or other string lights are safer options.
Beulah House will provide our preferred vendor contact list upon booking. You are permitted to bring your own licensed vendors upon approval from Beulah House.
Beulah House is not responsible for setting up equipment rented from outside vendors. Any rental equipment procured from an outside vendor must be delivered and picked up during the contracted rental time.
Alcoholic beverages (beer and/or wine) are permitted at Beulah House if served by a licensed bartender. No alcoholic beverages (beer/wine) may be sold at any time (no cash bar). No liquor may be consumed, served, or sold at Beulah House at any time.
Catering must remove all trash related to food prep, food service, and food enjoyment. Bartending must remove all trash related to beverage service, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. This means that Catering and Bartending must work together to bus tables and spaces throughout the Event until the end of the Event and dispose of all food and beverage trash.
